To each Potential New Member,
Hi!! My name is Lily Corley, and I have the absolute honor of serving as the Vice President of Recruitment for Alpha Gamma Delta this year. I truly cannot put into words how grateful I am to hold this position and how excited I am to meet each of you this August! Alpha Gam means the world to me, and the friendships I’ve made through this sisterhood have impacted my life in ways I never imagined.
Recruitment is such a special time where we get to share what makes Alpha Gam so dear to us—but more importantly, it's about YOU. My biggest hope is that you lean into what matters most to you, stay true to your values, have so much fun, and trust that you’ll find the place where you’re meant to be and will thrive.
Since being elected last November, my team and I have been planning, preparing, and praying with you in mind every step of the way. I know recruitment can feel overwhelming at times, but my best advice is to take it day by day, soak in each moment, and just be yourself. This week is full of opportunities to grow, meet amazing people, and step into a new and exciting chapter of life. You'll make friendships within the Panhellenic community that will last well beyond your college years—and remember, you're never alone in how you're feeling.
Alpha Gam is full of unique, beautiful, and real women who love each other deeply and celebrate one another’s differences. We’re not perfect, and we don’t expect you to be either. Come exactly as you are—we’ll welcome you with open arms and open hearts. This sisterhood has shown me what true friendship looks like: being there for each other during the best and worst moments, laughing until we cry, and lifting each other up every single day. These girls have changed my life, and without Alpha Gam, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.
I truly hope you find a chapter that makes you feel seen, loved, and supported—because you deserve nothing less. I’m beyond thrilled for you to meet the incredible women of Alpha Gam, and I can’t wait for us to get to know YOU!

Dear Potential New Members,
We are so thrilled that you’ve chosen to embark on this exciting journey, and I hope you know just how deeply we can’t wait to welcome you into the sweetness of Sisterhood. Recruitment is such a special time — a whirlwind of laughter, meeting new faces, and beginning some of your very first college memories. My biggest encouragement to you is to soak it all in. Whether it’s sharing a moment of nervous giggles with your Pi Chi group, grabbing ice cream between parties, or having a heart-to-heart with your roommate — those little moments will mean more than you think. Take time to do what lifts your spirit, makes you smile, and reminds you that this process is about you and the beautiful connections waiting just around the corner.
I’m Ellison Pulliam, and I have the absolute joy of serving as this year’s Vice President of New Member Experience — or as we call it, the “Mamma Squirrel” of our chapter. I’m so honored to walk alongside you as you begin this new chapter of life at Troy. Freshman year can be a mix of emotions — joy, nerves, excitement, and sometimes, uncertainty — but please know you don’t have to walk through any of it alone. I’m here to cheer you on through your highs, sit with you in the lows, and be a listening ear, a steady voice, and a warm hug whenever you need it.
There may be moments this week — and this year — that feel like a lot. That’s okay. You are not alone in that feeling. Just remember, no one has it all figured out, and no process is perfect. But you are here for a reason. You have so much to offer, so much light to give, and an incredible journey ahead. Embrace each step, even the unexpected ones, and trust that it’s all leading you right where you’re meant to be.
Being able to serve Alpha Gam in this role is such a gift to me. This Sisterhood has wrapped me in love, lifted me up, challenged me, and shaped me in all the best ways — and I’m beyond excited to now pour that same love into your lives. These next four years are going to fly by — but I promise, they’ll be filled with the sweetest memories, the loudest laughs, and the kind of friendships that feel like home.
