A NOTE FROM OUR

I am absolutely honored to serve as the Gamma Sigma Chapter’s Vice President of Recruitment for the 2025–2026 year! Throughout my time as an Alpha Gam, I have experienced meaningful friendships and endless support through all my endeavors. Alpha Gamma Delta has provided countless opportunities for growth through philanthropic service, campus involvement, academic excellence, and leadership during my years in the Gamma Sigma Chapter. I am beyond excited to share all that Alpha Gam has meant to me throughout my college experience.

In my role as Vice President of Recruitment, I am committed to helping our members showcase everything that Alpha Gam represents. I would not be who I am today without the incredible sisterhood of Alpha Gamma Delta shaping me along the way. It is part of my mission to ensure that each woman has a positive recruitment experience and finds her home on campus. Recruitment is a special time for our sisterhood to reflect on how much Gamma Sigma means to us and to prepare to welcome new members to share in that sisterhood. We look forward to welcoming a new pledge class of incredible young women this year. I am so excited to meet each of you participating in recruitment and am thrilled to welcome home PC ’26!

A NOTE FROM OUR

Hi sweet friends! I’m Reese Steedley, and I have the joy of serving as this year’s Vice President of New Member Experience, also known as “Mama Squirrel.” I’m so excited to walk alongside you as you begin this new, beautiful journey here at Troy. College isn’t always going to be easy. There will be moments of uncertainty, and there will be moments of pure joy and excitement. The mix of emotions you experience will be hard at times, but the beautiful part is that you won’t have to face any of it alone. You’ll be surrounded by people who will support you, encourage you, and make college a little easier!

As someone who came to Troy from out of state, I know what it feels like to be far from home. Alpha Gam gave me the sense of home I was longing for ever since I moved to college. I hope each of you who may be feeling this same way can experience this feeling too! No matter what, I will be here to love on you, encourage you, and be your biggest cheerleader. I will make sure your cup is always overflowing and never empty. I will be your listening ear, your big hug on your hardest days, or whatever you need me to be. I am here to make your new member experience the very best, and my heart is overflowing with joy to meet each of you!

Thank you Alpha Gam for this role and the gift it is to me. Each of my sisters has poured so much love, encouragement, and wisdom into me, and I am blessed to be able to pour that into each of you. I know I am your “Mama Squirrel,” but I promise to always be a friend — someone to laugh with, lean on, and someone who will always listen no mater what. College truly flies by, so make sure to soak up every moment you have here with all the people around you. These people are the ones who will make college fun, exciting, and most importantly, feel like home.
