CHAPTER PRESIDENT

Hello everyone! My name is Rachel Ruoss, and I have the honor and privilege of serving as Alpha Gam’s Chapter President this year.

Looking back on my time in Alpha Gam, my heart is just so full. Running home to AGD was easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made—it brought me the most amazing girls who make life brighter and sweeter every single day. These women are my biggest cheerleaders, my daily inspiration, and truly have the kindest hearts. Serving as Chapter President has been such a meaningful and special part of my life. I’m constantly surrounded by strong, driven, and passionate women who show me what it means to lead with love. This sisterhood has encouraged me in my faith, given me memories I’ll never forget, and always knows how to bring joy and laughter into even the busiest days.

Our chapter is full of women who inspire each other in countless ways. It’s hard to put into words what it feels like to be part of a group that shows up so consistently for one another—always leading with kindness, lifting each other up, and celebrating both the little and big wins. Their love and dedication to this sisterhood are what make Alpha Gam so special. This is a place where you’re celebrated for being exactly who you are, and where encouragement flows freely. In everything they do—academics, leadership, or relationships—our girls show unwavering commitment that is so inspiring to all. The integrity, leadership, and genuine love our sisters show every day make me proud beyond words to call myself an Alpha Gam.

As we continue this year together, my hope is that we keep growing in our values—loving, leading, and lasting—while striving to show kindness and live out our faith in everything we do. I’m so excited for what’s ahead and grateful for the chance to grow alongside such an incredible group of women! Oh how generous God is for giving us this kind of community—one that laughs hard, loves deep, and always finds a way to lift each other up. Here’s to all the sweet memories we’ve made, and the ones still to come.

Alpha Gamma Delta isn’t just a sorority—it’s a sisterhood that has helped shaped me into who I am and lifts me into becoming the best version of myself. Alpha Gam has meant the world to me! It’s made me part of something so much bigger than myself, brought me more than just friends but sisters, and filled my life with girls who constantly point me to Christ. From the moment I walked into Alpha Gam on Philanthropy Round, I just knew this place would be my home away from home. One of my favorite lines from our Purpose is “to cherish friendship with but a chosen few,” and wow, that hits home. Who you surround yourself with matters—and Alpha Gam made that choice the easiest ever. Every single girl has loved me so well, held me accountable, and pushed me to be the best version of myself. I’m forever thankful to Alpha Gam for giving me my built in bridesmaids, my biggest cheerleaders, and the kind of sisterhood you never outgrow!
